Customers say
Customers appreciate the retro look and find the toy fun. They say it resembles the toys in the cartoon and is a great little touch to add to their robot birthday party. However, some customers feel the build quality is cheap-made and fragile, making it a reminder of their childhood. Opinions vary on value for money, functionality, and size.

So cute – works beautifully .
The packaging says “not a toy”, but my grandson loves it!

Small but Fun
Nice little knicknack to put on the desk or other display place to make the room come alive. Note, this is small and fairly delicate so it is not a toy but a display piece.

Mr Roboto
My son loves robots. This was a great little touch to add to his robot birthday party. I love how vintage this is. Accidentally bought two. Now I have one on my desk at work.

Not good quality and sharp
As others have complained, it doesn’t go very far. It’s also super wobbly. I cut my finger on it while winding it for my toddler (she loves wind toys). If I saw it in the store, I’d pass on it. I have it three stars but debatably it’s a one star product. The only thing that I like about it is the look and heavy feel of the toy.

Really works. A great little wind up toy.
Retro toy for child who is a fan of Max and Ruby. It resembles the toys in the cartoon, works well and he was delighted with it. Sturdy and pretty.

Exactly as advertised!
This little robot is amazing! I originally bought it half expecting for it to arrive broken or to have a horrible build quality but nope! Although it does not walk very far and it is fairly fragile, it is very authentic to what it is a recreation of. So much so that when I had a friend over, they commented on how old-school the toy looks. One minor caveat with it is the fact that mine came with the print around the mouth and the eyes being just a little off but hey, I think it adds character! 5/5 awesome product!

Fuels the imagination of a young child
It’s really not meant to be a kid friendly object, but if you’re talking about robots, you can tell a story about a robot and think about the robot and wind it up just enough for it to make the pleasing mechanical noise and move a few times, and you see the child’s face light up and their mind start picturing robots in each child’s unique way.

Miniature Robot Used in Photography
This robot is more of a static model. However, since I’m using it in miniature photography it’s fine for my needs. It does move when winding it up, but it doesn’t move very far before stopping.

My bad for not properly checking measurements. This thing is match box sized and soooooo not worth the money.
